This Creepy Thriller

The Eyes of Tammy Faye
In the struggle between God and Mammon, the victory is clear for materialism in Michael Showalter's brilliantly over-the-top film adaptation regarding the shamed televangelist and her felon spouse. The actor plays the greedy Jim, who proclaims at the beginning, “God does not want us to be poor,”. Both individuals set about monetising the people's Christian beliefs. It's a riot of bad interior design, excessive cosmetics and hypocrisy, though Jessica Chastain succeeds to depict the real-life figure as a sympathetic figure. Tuesday 14 October, late night, Film4
